PURPOSE: An engine control method for an LPG(Liquefied Petroleum Gas) vehicle is provided to control pressure of a vaporizer by applying a compensating value to a fuel amount depending on values of a pressure sensor, a temperature sensor and cooling water prepared in a secondary chamber of the vaporizer. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling an engine of an LPG vehicle comprises the steps of: comparing an output fuel amount to a reference value by reading a secondary internal pressure, a secondary internal temperature and cooling water temperature; deciding if the output fuel amount is larger than the reference value or not; and outputting a control signal for rising the pressure of a vaporizer upon decision of the output fuel amount to be larger than the reference fuel amount, outputting a fuel amount and returning to the step for comparing the output amount with the reference fuel amount. Therefore, stabilized fuel supply is realized.
