PURPOSE: A communication device using a shared memory is provided so that a plurality of processors can directly execute data communication using a shared memory. CONSTITUTION: A communication device using a shared memory is composed of a key input unit(2), a control unit(4), the first processor(6), the second processor(8), and a storage unit(10). The storage unit(10) allocates its own entire memory to a plurality storage parts and shared storage parts by the control of the control unit(4). The control unit(4) controls the allocation of a shared memory by controlling a memory structure of the storage unit(10) according to the key input data provided from the key input unit(2). Also the control unit controls the first and second processors(6,8) so that they can directly carry out inter-processor data communication through the shared memory.
