PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a keyboard provided with a telephone function for performing a telephone all by utilizing the keyboard through a power source is off and for managing the storage and reproduction of stored speaking contents. SOLUTION: The keyboard is provided with a key input part 111a used as a dial in common, which is provided with keys for performing the telephone function, a ringer for detecting a ring signal, a headphone connection part H3A, a speech network for transmitting and receiving a voice signal between a telephone line and the part 3A and a microcomputer which performs pertinent speech control operation by key input when a computer body 120 is operable in the case of being converted to a telephone speaking mode by key input or with the ring signal by the ringer and which outputs a control signal so as to perform the telephone call through the part H3A and the speech network when the computer body 120 is not operable.
