METHOD FOR PREDICTING ROLLING LOAD DURING ROLLING THICK STEEL PLATE

PURPOSE: A predicting method of a rolling load during rolling a thick steel plate is provided to have the excellent response property by quickly calculating predict errors per pass. CONSTITUTION: A correlation between a predicting error of a rolling position and a predicting error of a rolling load is calculated from accumulated rolling data through regression analysis. The rolling position is recalculated to reduce the predicting error of the rolling load with the calculated correlation. The rolling load is recalculated with the recalculated rolling position. By repeating the operations, the prediction-hit rate is improved and a deviation of thickness is reduced.
