PURPOSE: An indenter is provided to indent a workpiece regardless of volume and weight, to continuously indent the workpiece and to install the bearing of an axle housing in a large vehicle, with an improved indenting jig. CONSTITUTION: An indenter(100) with an improved indenting jig contains a hydraulic pressure generating unit(110) having a hydraulic motor and a tank; a hydraulic cylinder unit(112) storing hydraulic pressure through a hydraulic line(111) from the hydraulic pressure generating unit: and a jig unit(113) receiving hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic cylinder unit. The jig unit consists of a first shaft(114); a second shaft(116) connected to the first shaft with a hook(115); and a housing(117) covering the first and the second shaft. A ball(118) is attached to the end of the housing near the hook in a specific number and a specific angle. An indenting unit(150) is formed between the hydraulic cylinder unit and the jig unit with a coil spring(160) for the restoring force of the housing.
