LCD AND DRIVING METHOD FOR DECREASING FLICKER BY CONTROLLING DELAY OF GATE DRIVING SIGNAL

PURPOSE: Liquid crystal display(LCD) for decreasing flicker and method for driving the LCD are to form a storage capacitance between the gate line and the pixel electrode and delay a gate signal at an input terminal, thereby decreasing flicker. CONSTITUTION: A gate line includes a gate line pixel region part(231,233) and a gate line transistor part(232,234). The gate line pixel region part passes unit pixel electrodes arranged in a row from a gate pad to an opposite side. The gate line transistor part is connected to each of gate electrodes of thin film transistors from an end portion of a pixel region placed at the opposite side of the gate pad to the gate pad region. The gate pads are arranged at the left portion or right portion of an LCD panel. The gate line pixel region part is overlapped with the pixel electrode such that a storage capacitance is generated.
