PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device effective in recording a signal continuously to those recorded prior to interruption, as an optical disk recording/reproducing device that can record signals on a disk with a laser beam emitted from an optical pickup. SOLUTION: In the case where an operation for recording signals on a disk 1 is interrupted because of a shortage of capacity of signals to be recorded in a buffer RAM 10 in such signal recording operation, an objective lens incorporated in an optical pickup 2 is designed to be in the center position relative to an optical pickup body.
