PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus duct connecting apparatus which can accurately connect a bus duct and improve the working efficiency. SOLUTION: In this bus duct connecting apparatus which connects the end of conductor of bus duct inserted into insulation separator and is tightened with a tightening tool inserted to an insulation sleeve provided through the insulation separators, the cross-sectional shape of the insulation sleeve is formed in the predetermined shape other than the circle, and an aperture which is a little larger than the specified shape similar to the predetermined shape is formed to the insulation separator. The specified shape is selected as required as polygonal shape or elliptical shape, but the polygonal shape is recommended because non-rotating condition can surely be attained.
