PURPOSE: A hydraulic pressure control system of automatic transmission prevents abnormal noise. CONSTITUTION: A dividing plate(40) with an orifice(41) is installed between a valve body(20) and a case(30). A reverse clutch side passage(31) is formed on the case(30) above the orifice(41). As ATF is locked without completely escaping to the reverse clutch side passage(31), line pressure passes through the modified &phgr;1.4 orifice(41) and is supplied through the residual ATF by the reverse clutch side passage(31) without dispersing to the air on N-R alteration. The ATF is placed in the reverse clutch side passage(31) to prevent the supplied line pressure from dispersing to the air on N-R to reduce abnormal noise.
