PURPOSE: An operating device for the brush body of a wall inlet in a vacuum cleaner is provided to smoothly and simply expose the brush body to the bottom of the wall inlet or insert the brush body into the wall inlet. CONSTITUTION: A wall inlet(140) includes an upper cover(111) opened downward with a space; a base(12) as the bottom of the upper cover, having a suction hole(12a) sucking air or impurities; and a brush body(140) selectively protruding a brush(141) along the circumference of the upper cover, between the upper body and the base. A spring(160) is installed between the brush body and the base to elastically move the brush body by a spring and a button unit(170) is installed on the upper face of the upper cover to push the brush body. The part of the button unit is exposed upward and vertically moved while supported by the upper cover. A pushing device is placed between the button unit and the brush body to keep the brush body with the operation of the button unit.
