PURPOSE: A guiding device of an automatic transmission lever used as a manual mode prevents the generation of noise due to the contact of the automatic transmission lever and a housing. CONSTITUTION: A guiding device of an automatic transmission lever used as a manual mode comprises an automatic transmission lever(51), a lever housing(53) and a guide mechanism(55). The automatic transmission lever(51) is moved by itself along guide slots(53a,53b,53c) of the lever housing(53). Thus, a redundant protrusions are not needed on the automatic transmission lever(51). Therefore, the manufacturing of the automatic transmission lever(51) becomes simple and the deformation of the automatic transmission lever(51) is prevented by the removement of bending processes and welding processes.
