PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability of connecting operation in fitting columnar bodies to each other to connect them by preventing a key member from being fitted into any other groove part than a groove part in a specified position into which the key member is to be fitted, following the fitting operation of a cylindrical part and a frame. SOLUTION: In this columnar body, a cylindrical part inner peripheral surface part 23 is formed of a tapered face 23T gradually larger in diameter toward the columnar body end side, a frame outer peripheral surface part 13 is formed of a tapered face 13T gradually smaller in diameter toward the columnar body end side, and a key member 3 is constituted to be connectable being fitted in and engaged in the state of straddling an inward groove part 22 of the cylindrical part 21 and an outward groove part 12 of the frame 11 following the fitting operation of the cylindrical part 21 and frame 11. A plurality of inward grooves 22 are formed at the cylindrical part tapered face 23T being arranged in an axis direction, and a plurality of outward groove parts 12 are formed at the frame tapered face 13T being arranged in the axis direction. A plurality of key members 3 are fitted forming an array part of the key members 3 fitted in a freely advancing/receding manner in the groove parts in such an array that the thickness of the key members 3 are smaller stepwise from the tip side of the columnar body end part toward the base end side.
