The invention described here relates to a rotor (1) which rotates about a vertical axis of rotation and can be arranged in a comminution device, for example a breaker or a mill, but can also be arranged in a distribution or spreader device. The rotor is provided with a central section (3) and at least one guide member (8) that is arranged on the bearing surface of said rotor and is provided with a guide surface (11) that extends from the feed edge (12) of said guide member towards the outer edge (16) of the rotor. The feed edge (12), which is some distance away from said axis of rotation (0) and forms the front edge of the guide surface (11) of the guide member, does not run parallel to said axis of rotation (0) and is oriented obliquely downwards, such that the top point (19) of said feed edge (12), where the feed edge (12) and the bottom edge (17) of the guide member intersect one another, is located a greater radial distance away from said axis of rotation (0) than is the top point (19) where said feed edge and said top edge of said guide member intersect one another. What is achieved by this means is that the metered material is better picked up by the guide member, as a result of which the capacity of the rotor increases. |
