PURPOSE: A floodgate opening/shutting device is provided to enhance the efficiency of drainage and an anti-counterflow function by lifting and operating a floodgate stably and smoothly and to prevent the leakage of water when closing the floodgate. CONSTITUTION: A floodgate opening/sutting device comprises: a lifting beam(30) horizontally installed to a pair of guide rails(20) installed on the top of the exit side of a drainage way(50) vertically to be lifted by an elevation operator(10) and provided with a guide roller(31) rolling along each guide rail at both ends; an opening/shutting plate(40) formed on the lower part of the lifting beam in a suspended type, coupled to a projected bracket(32) by two hinge shafts and a link(34) to be operated together and adhered closely to the front of the drainage way having the regular angle of inclination by self-weight to close the drainage way; and a bent guide plate(21) projected on the lower front of the guide rails to support and guide the reciprocated opening/shutting plate smoothly.
