LCD FOR ADJUSTING GATE ON-SIGNAL WIDTH

PURPOSE: An LCD for adjusting a gate on-signal width is provided to make a good image quality of LCD panel by gradually reducing an effective period of a gate-on-signal in the direction of the last gate line. CONSTITUTION: The LCD panel arranges pixels as a matrix format. The pixels are comprised of many data line, many gate lines, pixel electrodes, common electrodes, and thin film transistor. A timing controller outputs a gate pulse and a timing signal including a gate on-enable signal. A source driver is driven by the timing signal, and applies a data signal to the data line. A gate driver sequentially applies a gate driving signal to a gate line, wherein the gate driving signal is synchronized to the gate pulse and the gate on-enable signal(OE). In the direction from the an initial gate line on which the gate driving signal is first applied to the last gate line on which the gate driving signal is finally applied, the gate on-signal width becomes wider.
