METHOD FOR UPDATING PACKET ROUTING REGION IN INTERNATIONAL MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATIONS-2000

PURPOSE: A method for updating a packet routing region in an IMT-2000(International Mobile Telecommunications-2000) is provided to locate a GLR(Gateway Location Register) between an HLR(Home network Location Register) and a PDCN(Packet Data Control Node). CONSTITUTION: According as a mobile terminal moves from home networks to visit networks, the mobile terminal requests a routing region updating to the visit networks. According to the routing region updating request, the visit networks transmit routing information of the corresponding mobile terminal to the home networks, and perform a routing region updating operation.
