PURPOSE: An actuator is provided to secure proper stroke in a tracking servo, and to secure bandwidth for a precise servo. CONSTITUTION: A drive(30) contains a disk(36) as a recording medium, and a spindle motor(37) for rotating the disk. The disk contains a recording surface for an actuator to record/reproduce information on the disk. A first actuator(33) contains an actuator arm(31) and a suspension(34) while being rotated centering upon a pivot(32). A slider(35) is installed at an end of the suspension for maintaining a gap between the slider and the disk in rotating the disk. Herein, a VCM(Voice Coil Motor) is used for the first actuator. A second actuator is installed between the suspension and the slider to perform a precise actuating.
