The procedure consists of blow-moulding the pipe in one piece made from a number of sections (12, 13, 14) lying more or less in line with the lengthwise axis (17) of the preform. The sections are linked by portions (19) which are cut away after moulding, leaving orifices (22, 23) on the ends of pipe sections which are linked by supple connectors (21) which act as hinges as the orifices are brought together and the adjoining sections are assembled to make a continuous curved pipe. The pipe can be packed and stored as a one-piece moulded component and unpacked and assembled prior to use. One of each pair of assembled orifices is made with an assembly projection (18) during moulding, allowing it to be clipped or stuck to the adjoining pipe section, and the portions (19) of the moulding to be cut away prior to assembly are in the form of bubbles. |
