PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce quantity of material used for explosion-proof reinforcing band and to enhance explosion-proofing effect. SOLUTION: Both ends 1a and 1b of a piece of band-shaped plate 1 are joined into a ring shape with dovetailing, namely by fitting a dovetail groove 2 formed at one end 1a with a dovetail 3 with the other end 1b. Furthermore, by welding along the dovetail joint then, the both ends are fixed to produce on explosion-proof reinforcing band.
