Charging of regeneration of ion exchangers Counter-current method for regeneration of ion exchange material in column by upward fluid flow consists of fixing the filter bed as a solid bed by means of an upper layer of particulate, partially ferro-magnetic auxiliary material which is kept electromagnetically in position. Pref. the ferro-magnetic auxiliary material is deposited on granulated polyolefin or cross-linked polystyrene. |
