PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher for separately using both hot water and cold water corresponding to the need of respective washing steps. SOLUTION: This dishwasher is provided with a connection pipe 3 connected to a water pipe 6 for heat exchange and extended to a dishwasher main body and a control part 4 for changing a water amount at the time of passing water to the connection pipe 3. The control part 4 controls the water amount at the time of passing the water to the connection pipe from the connection pipe to an open state to be an amount required for starting gas combustion in a hot water supplier or more, a limited state to be less than the amount required for starting the gas combustion and a closed state for completely interrupting the water amount.
