PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus of coating a hot melt adhesive and a method of coating the hot melt adhesive using the coating apparatus wherein even in the case where a nozzle head is a plurality of orifices type nozzle head, a cobwebbing phenemenon is less prone to be generated in coating, then a generation amount of a filiform body can be reduced, and it is compact and simple. SOLUTION: For the apparatus of coating the hot melt adhesive comprising a melting tank, a pressure feed hose and a discharge head 1, the discharge head 1 comprises a nozzle part 2 having a single or a plurality of orifices type nozzle head 3 and a discharge head main body 4, and is equipped with a heater 5 capable of heating the nozzle part 2. Then the method for coating the hot melt adhesive is provided wherein the hot melt adhesive is applied by using the apparatus for coating the hot melt adhesive.
