PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively start an engine by preventing the occurrence of such a situation that the engine cannot be started due to battery exhaustion. SOLUTION: An auxiliary battery 2 is provided in parallel with a main battery 1, and a changeover switch 3 is installed for connecting the auxiliary battery 2 to a power circuit formed with the main battery 1. When the engine is stopped, the changeover switch 3 is switched off to cut off the auxiliary battery 2 from the power circuit. When the power of the main battery is insufficient, the changeover switch 3 is switched on to supply power from the auxiliary battery 2 to start the engine. |
