<p>A miniature hockey goal net suitable for playing an alternate style of roller hockey or ice hockey has a tubular steel frame with a hockey net mesh attached to the frame for trapping a hockey ball. The frame consists of two U-shaped pieces, one U-shaped piece which is vertical and forms the front opening of the net, the other U-shaped piece which is horizontal and forms the base of the net. The two U-shaped pieces are joined by two elbows (5), which are situated at the base of the two side pieces (4) of the vertical U-shaped piece and are attached to the two side pieces of the horizontal U-shaped piece. A larger second opening for scoring is provided by reversing the position of the two U-shaped pieces, raising the horizontal U-shaped piece to the vertical position. An optional center back brace (13, 14) can be attached between the upper crossbar (3) and the lower crossbar (7) for additional support and weight.</p> |
