PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode and a method of fabricating the electrode having a high capacity and utilization rate, as well as an alkaline secondary battery capable of exhibiting an excellent high-rate discharge characteristic. SOLUTION: The electrode 2 and the alkaline secondary battery including the electrode 2 are adopted. In the electrode, wherein at least electrode active substance powders are adhered to a sheet-shaped or porous conductive support.
