PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pixel driver whose cost is low and whose power consumption is low. SOLUTION: This driver is a pixel driver which is provided with a duty cycle which operates in response to an M-bit input value defining the apparent brightness of a pixel 112 and sets the apparent brightness of the pixel and the driver is constituted by including a memory which receives N-bit word expressing an input value and stores the word and a digital sequence generator 114 which generates a P-bit value including a first P-bit word expressing a part of the input value at a position corresponding in time to the duty cycle of a pixel driving signal and a comparator which is connected so as to receive a digital sequence from the generator 114 and to receive a second P-bit word constituting a part of the N-bit word from the memory and changes the state in response to that the first and second P-bit words are equal by transmitting a pixel driving signal.
