A pump-type dispenser (100) for dispensing predetermined doses of medicament s in droplets or in spray form to the nasal pouch located within the rigid vialfor medicament, an expandable actuation mechanism (103), a one way valve mechanism (24) in the nozzle area (104) and a spring element (23), both the valve mechanism and the spring element being formed as integral portions of the pump body (8). The one-way valve mechanism enables the user to load and dispense a uniform quantity of medicament with a unifor m actuation force and speed via a single continueous motion of the actuation mechanism upon application of a very small force on the actuation trigger mechanism by the user. |
