<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system in which the state of an imaging apparatus can be grasped on a screen on the terminal side without requiring to go to the vicinity of the imaging apparatus by notifying the state information of the imaging apparatus to the terminal from the imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: The control section of an imaging apparatus holding the current state information of the imaging apparatus displays the state information at a display section and notifies the state information to a terminal through a bi-directional interface. The terminal transmits a signal for requesting to notify the state of the imaging apparatus while affixing information for identifying a sender. Upon receiving the request, the control section of the imaging apparatus specifies the terminal based on the information for identifying the sender affixed to the request and sends back a state notification of the imaging apparatus.</p> |
