PURPOSE: A highly functional cationic electrodeposited paint composition is provided, to improve the acid resistance, appearance, corrosion resistance, and weather resistance of the dry film prepared by the composition and to allow the composition to be cured at low temperature. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises 30-50 wt% of acryl-based electrodeposited resin containing OH group and amino group; 15-30 wt% of polyurethane cross-linking agent which comprises 20-40 wt% of polyurethane cross-linking agent containing half-cut aromatic polydiisocyanate component and 30-60 wt% of polyurethane cross-linking agent containing half-cut aliphatic polydiisocyanate component, and is prepared by reacting half-cut diisocyanate with trimethylol propane; 5-15 wt% of ester resin which is prepared by exchange reaction of bifunctional ester compound and cyclohexane dimethanol; and 20-30 wt% of a pigment. Preferably the cross-linking agent can be cured at the temperature below 125 deg.C. |
