METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING ABRASION RESISTANT ALUMINUM-SILICON THIN PLATE

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for manufacturing an abrasion resistant aluminum-silicon thin plate are provided to manufacture an aluminum-silicon alloy thin plate having a high silicon density by spraying silicon powder on a certain area of the alloy thin plate using a nozzle unit and rolling the silicon powder sprayed aluminum alloy thin plate after heating an aluminum alloy thin plate to a certain temperature. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a heating step of heating an aluminum alloy thin plate to a certain temperature; a silicon powder spray step of spraying silicon powder on the aluminum alloy thin plate heated to a certain temperature in the heating step; and a rolling step of completing a product by rolling the aluminum alloy thin plate coated with the silicon powder. The apparatus comprises a heating furnace (10) heating an aluminum alloy thin plate (1); a transferring means (30) transferring the heated aluminum alloy thin plate from the heating furnace; a silicon powder spray means (20) spraying silicon powder on a certain area of the thin plate transferred by a transferring means (30); and a rolling mill (40) rolling the aluminum alloy thin plate coated with silicon powder (S) by the silicon powder spray means.
