The system has a flow sensor to measure actual flow of the hydraulic fluid in the valve. A pressure sensor is connected with operation devices for the valve, to detect a load pressure acting on them. A device determines the valve output flow rate based on the load pressure signal and a user input signal for the operation devices. A comparator connected to the flow sensor and the determination device compares the actual and desired flow rates. A control device modifies a flow rate input signal for the valve based on the comparator device, to correct the valve flow rate. An Independent claim is included for a method for controlling an electro-hydraulic valve.
