PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance system for a scale capable of efficiently coping with periodical inspection or the like, or emergency such as a malfunction by storing a configuration and specifications, maintenance history or the like of the scale set on the user side in a database. SOLUTION: This maintenance system has the database of the configuration and the specifications, the maintenance history or the like of the scale set on the user side; and a means displaying a service content such as malfunction repair or periodical maintenance on a display on the user side. The user side selects the service content and selects a concrete content displayed from the maintenance side, e.g. selects a malfunction content according to a malfunction content display means. The maintenance side diagnoses the malfunction with referring to the database according to the malfunction content, and informs the user side of its cause and measures.
