PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of preventing arcs for a breaker of a power converter, capable of preventing the contact of the breaker from burnout by eliminating arc discharge in the breaker. SOLUTION: In cutting off arcs generated between the contacts of the breaker with weak input current running if the breaker is opened, this method exerts control so as to open between the contacts of the breaker, close a switch, and close a charging resistor shortening switch. |
