PURPOSE:To read an original having visual information and other information in mixture efficiently by providing a read means for reading visual information on an original, a means for reading other information than the visual information on the original and a common lighting means used to emit a light to the original for the reading in the processor. CONSTITUTION:A CCD sensor 210-1 in 4-line CCD sensors 210 in an image scanner section 201 is a light receiving element array reading an infrared ray (IR) having a wavelength characteristic other than that of a visual light, and the CCD sensors 210-2, 3, 4 are light receiving elements to read the wavelength components of red (R), green (G) and blue (B) based on the visual light in this order. Furthermore, a halogen lamp 205 is used in common for reading visual information and for reading infrared ray fluorescent information other than the visual information and has the lighting wavelength component required for the two kinds of information reading. Through the constitution above, an original in which plural sets of visual information and other information are in existence in mixture is read efficiently. |
