PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of optical network units(ONU) capable of being accommodated, without changing the communication system of an optical subscriber unit(OSU) in a subscriber system network device like a subscriber system network device based on an STM-PDS band sharing system where a certain number of the ONUs are accommodated in the OSU and the OSU assigns an incoming shared frame to a request of an incoming shared frame from the ONU and the ONU transmits the incoming shared frame to the OSU. SOLUTION: An ONU grouping station is installed between a plurality of ONUs, and the OSU and takes a plurality of ONUs as one group to register them in the OSU as one ONU. The ONU grouping station integrates incoming shared frame requests from the ONUs belonging to one group to request an incoming shared frame to the OSU as an incoming shared frame request from one ONU and distributes incoming shared frame assignment to the group from the OSU to individual ONUs belonging to this group.
