PURPOSE: A transient adjustable trip apparatus of a distributing wire circuit breaker is provided to adjust the trip current by using the straight line motion of a moving coil. CONSTITUTION: The circuit breaker comprises a base, a cover, an on/off switch unit, a trip device, and an arc extinguishing unit. The transient adjustable trip apparatus comprises a coil to pass the current, a fixed core for generating a magnetic force when abnormal current flows the coil, a moving coil inserted into the fixed coil when the fixed core produces a magnetic force, an instant bar(24) for controlling the motion of the moving coil, a cross bar(26) connected to the instant bar for rotating the instant bar, an adjusting dial for controlling the cross bar, and a shutter to cut off the power supplying by hitting the latch holder. The cross bar has an incline plane(26b) and the instant bar has a protrusion(24a) to connect to the cross bar.
