CLAMPING BELT FOR PLATING LEAD FRAME

PURPOSE: A clamping belt for plating a lead frame is provided not only to prevent separation and generation of chips causing defects in an existing clamping belt but also easily plate the lead frame by improving the shape of the clamping belt in such a manner that the depth of cut-out grooves for maintaining flexibility is short so as not to be contacted with a contact rod supplying negative electricity, and the gaps therebetween are densely formed so as to maintain flexibility having the original elastic bending. CONSTITUTION: In a clamping belt for plating a lead frame in which inserting grooves (14a,14b) are formed at the central surface and the lower part of the clamping belt with spaced part in an equal distance from each other so that inserting elements (16) in which the lead frame is inserted can be mounted, the clamping belt for plating a lead frame comprises cut-out grooves for maintaining flexibility (12a) having the equivalent depths formed on the upper part of the clamping belt with densely spaced apart from each other; and circular holes (26) formed in a constant distance at the lower side of the cut-out grooves for maintaining flexibility (12a) so that the surface between the cut-out grooves for maintaining flexibility (12a) and the circular holes (26) becomes a point of contact (20) with a contact rod supplying a negative electricity.
