PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a workability by which a connection work can simply and surely be done even by groping while a high connection strength is maintained in a connecting member for fastening a rope in a non-slip device for a tire made of a synthetic resin. SOLUTION: This connecting member for the fastening rope comprises a fitting body c1 attached to one end of the fastening rope a1 and a receiver c2 attached to the other end of the fastening rope a1. The fitting body c1 is provided with an fitting part 11 and an engaging shaft 12. The receiver c2 is provided with a fitting part 21 recessed at the end of a knob and an engaging piece 23. The engaging piece 23 is supported on the receiver c2 and a hook part 23b is formed in its end side. The engaging piece 23 always urges the hook part 23b toward the fitting part 21 by the urging force of an elastic body 27. In the engaging shaft 12, a guide protrusion 13 is formed to push away the end of the hook part by the engaging shaft 12 and the guide protrusion 13 is fitted to a holding clearance 31 in the fitting part 21.
