PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal vaccine oil adjuvant which has good emulsion stability and can be injected into an animal without causing an injection reaction such as shock, heat generation and the necrosis, induration and pain of an injected site, and so on. SOLUTION: This oil adjuvant comprising an oil-in-water type emulsion which contains an animal oil and/or a vegetable oil as an oil phase component, a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester not having a polyalkylene structure in the molecule as an emulsifier, and a sugar or sugar alcohol fatty acid ester as an immunostimulant, and does not contain an emulsifier having a polyoxyalkylene structure in the molecule.
