PURPOSE: An endoscope apparatus is provided to reduce the production cost and to give an easy operation by connecting the wireless camera apparatus to the endoscope. CONSTITUTION: The endoscope apparatus comprises an endoscope(13), a light source(20) connected to a light guide, and a camera unit. The endoscope has an insertion unit(11) to be inserted into the human body, the light guider(12) for inducing the light from the light source to the insertion unit, an image generator(13) for outputting the image from the insertion unit, an eye lens selectively attached to the image generator. The camera unit receives the image from the image generator, and converts it into a digital signal or an analog signal, and outputs the converted and processed image signal to the image display unit(40). The camera unit includes a housing(31), a controller(32) mounted on the housing for converting the image into the electrical signal to process the image and for generating it to the image display unit, a wireless transmitter set(33) for transmitting the image to the image display unit, a battery(34) installed on the housing for supplying the power to each unit, a wireless receiver(35) for receiving the transmitted image signal and for transmitting it to the image display unit.
