PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a novel pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. SOLUTION: This pressure-sensitive adhesive tape has a backing film which comprises at least two co-extrusion layers having different compositions with each other whose interfaces are not planar and have, in transverse section, a nonlinear course continuing in laminae in the machine direction and which has been stretched in the machine direction and has an outer surface parallel to the plane.
