<p>The wind velocity controller for controlling and regulating the incoming wind velocity in a wind energy conversion system comprises of an adjustable cylindrical structure, having an inlet (1) and an outlet (3); said inlet is housed in a circular frame; said circular frame houses semicircular overlapping metal sheets (2) which can slide on one another and by doing that increase or decrease the inlet aperture; the said adjustable inlet is connected to the Outlet by a stretchable rubber sheet(4), which forms the periphery of the cylindrical structure; the said Outlet has a fixed diameter slightly greater than the turbine diameter, and faces the turbine; the said turbine rotates an electrical generator, thereby giving regulated electrical power.</p> |
