Several multi-electrode monolithic grid structures are disclosed herein which differ considerably from prior art and which are particularly applicable to array type thin planar vacuum tubes utilizing planar virtual cathodes in close proximity to these grid structures. The latter incorporate selection, intensity control, modulation, focusing and in some cases all in a single monolithic system. |
