PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing device wherein a positional slip between corner pads and a bottom surface supplementary cushioning material is hard to occur. SOLUTION: A corner pad 8 is arranged at four corners of the bottom surface 9 of a packing case 4, and at the approximate center of the four corner pads 8, the approximately square bottom surface supplementary cushioning material 11 formed of a sheet-form packing material is placed. Then, a product 1 to be packed is placed on the bottom surface supplementary cushioning material 11 and the bottom receiving sections 10 of the corner pads 8 for this packing device. In such a packing device, at four corners of the bottom surface supplementary cushioning material 11, a notch 12 which is fitted on the internal corner of the bottom receiving section 10 of the four corner pads 8 is formed. Thus, a positional slip between the corner pads 8 and the bottom surface supplementary cushioning material 11 is prevented from occurring.
