<p>Yarn package on a tubular yarn carrier, partic. one which is to be subsequently subjected to wet treatment, e.g. washing, dyeing, in which the yarn windings form passages, which starting directly on, and extending uninterruptedly over the periphery of, the yarn carrier, are delimited on all sides by the cross over points of the yarn, are arranged in successive rows in the whole yarn package, are only separated from each other by the thickness of the yarn, leave openings in the outermost winding of the yarn package and have an approx. rhomboidal cross section over their whole length. Specif. the passages extend in spiral configuration in radial planes.</p> |
