PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the degree of freedom of design on a whirl-stop and sound producing mechanism. SOLUTION: This reel seat is attached to a fishing rod 4 for mounting a reel 2 for fishing on the fishing rod 4. A seat body 10 is provided with a first engaging part 20 for engaging one side of a mounting leg 3 of the reel 2 for fishing, a mounted part mounted on the fishing rod 4 and an external thread part 31 formed at an end. A movable sheet part 11 is arranged oppositely to the engaging part 20 and is provided with a second engaging part 35 for engaging the other side of the mounting leg 3 and mounted on the outer periphery of the second engaging part 35 so as to be freely movable in the axial direction and relatively nonrotatable. A nut part 12 is movable together with the movable sheet part 11 in the axial direction and is relatively rotatable relatively to the seat body 10 and the movable seat part 11 and an internal thread 44 screwed onto the external thread part 31 to move the movable seat part 11 is formed therein. The sound producing mechanism 13 is a mechanism arranged as a separate unit on the inner peripheral side of the nut part 12 so as to produce a sound when the nut part 12 is rotated relatively to the seat body 10.
