PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elemental analyzer capable of satisfactory burning a sample and providing a precise analytic result. SOLUTION: This analyzer comprises a vessel for fused sample having an opening on the upper side and a jetting nozzle for jetting a combustion gas for burning the sample through the opening of the vessel. The jetting nozzle jets the combustion gas toward the surface circumferential part of the sample housed in the vessel.
