PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently retrieve both a disclosed document and an un-disclosed document. SOLUTION: When a retrieval request is accepted, a portal apparatus(PA) 160 transmits the retrieval request of a disclosed document to the portal of a network 170 and transmits the unconsciously fetched retrieval request of a non-disclosed document to a file managing apparatus(FMA) 150, for example. When the retrieved result of the disclosed document and the retrieved result of the non-disclosed document are received, the PA 160 merges these results and presents them to a user.
