摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus, for signal processing in a phase modulation-type optical fiber gyro, in which a detection clock is corrected by an optical-system clock containing phase delay information and in which a detection error is reduced. SOLUTION: In this signal processing method in a phase modulation-type optical fiber gyro by this invention, light is modulated on the basis of an angular velocity transmitted from an oscillation circuit 15, the phase difference of the light is made to interfere, an optical-system output S is generated, a to-be- detected optical-system output S1 which is obtained by amplifying the optical- system output S by an electric-system input amplifier 11 is input to a lock-in amplifier 17, the angular velocity which is transmitted from the oscillation circuit 15 is corrected on the basis of phase delay information contained in the to-be-detected optical-system output S1 so as to be synchronously detected, and a gyro output 18a in which a detection error is reduced is output.
