PURPOSE:To reduce memory capacity by calculating the classified constitution ratios of sale data by time zones. CONSTITUTION:When departmental registering operation is performed, the departmentalized total amounts of money are totalized in a departmental memory 5. Simultaneously, sale data from some time point to another time point is totalized departmentally. When one of keys assigned to respective transaction, one to one, the contents of a memory 4 whose contents are classified by the transactions are totalized. Then, the current time is read out of a timer circuit 3 and transferred to the X register of a CPU2. Then, this current time and the starting time and time interval of totalization by time zones in the memory 5 are read out to calculate the address in the time zone. This time zone address is compared with the time-zone address in the memory 5; when both addresses are not equal to each other, the current time is considered to be in the next time zone and the processing for calculating the departmental constitution ratio of sale data is entered. The departmental constitution ratio in some time zone is calculated and written in a specific area. Then the sale data in the memory 5 is erased. |
